Proff Installasjon attended ONS 2026 in Stavanger. This year’s event brought together 72 676 participants from 102 countries, with companies and professionals from across the energy, offshore, maritime and technology sectors.

We enjoyed the event and the chance to spend four days surrounded by the industries we work in and want to develop further within. ONS brought together offshore, maritime, subsea and energy companies, along with a wide range of specialised suppliers and technology providers. For us, it was a good opportunity to see new equipment and technical solutions up close, speak directly with the people behind them, and explore where some of these developments could fit into our own work.

For us, the main purpose of ONS was to meet companies working in areas closely connected to our own work. During the event, we spoke with representatives from Equinor, Ulstein and Moreld Apply, among others.

The conversations covered our existing work in HVAC-R, ventilation, refrigeration, offshore and maritime projects, as well as our robotic solutions for inspection, cleaning and internal treatment of ducts and piping.

A few conversations went beyond the work we already deliver.

We also discussed inspection technology for areas that are considerably harder to access. Some of those ideas are still at an early stage, and for now, we prefer to keep the details to ourselves.

We came back from Stavanger with several new contacts and discussions to continue. Some are closely connected to what we already do. Others could take us into somewhat different territory.
