We attended OTD TechDays 2026, held on 14–15 October at Sotra Arena near Bergen. The event brought together over 150 exhibitors and professionals from the offshore, maritime and industrial sectors, including a wide range of suppliers, equipment manufacturers and technology companies.

For us, this was an excellent opportunity to meet companies working in fields closely related to our own operations, while also exploring new applications for the technology we work with.

During the event, we spoke with representatives from CCB, GMC, Aeron, NordTech, Titomic, Pipeliner and WEICON, among others. Much of the discussion focused on our robotic solutions for internal inspection, cleaning and surface treatment of pipes and ducts.

Several companies expressed interest in the technology and how it could be applied within their respective fields. We discussed opportunities involving industrial piping systems, maintenance and internal surface treatment, as well as technical adaptations for different applications.

It was particularly interesting to meet companies operating beyond our traditional areas of expertise, but facing technical challenges where robotic methods could be valuable.

We continue to develop our operations within HVAC-R, offshore and maritime projects, while expanding the range of applications for our robotic solutions. Events like this allow us to connect with specialized suppliers and explore new ways to apply existing technologies.

We returned from the conference with several new contacts and discussions to follow up on. Some concerned solutions we already offer, while others opened up new technical possibilities we look forward to exploring further.
